Brooch “Serpent and the Forbidden Fruit”
This piece is carved from a solid block of titanium using hand tools.
At the center is a serpent, sculpted from jadeite, coiled among the branches of a paradise tree, luring the viewer toward the forbidden fruit — an apple crafted from high-grade Russian jadeite.
The tree is detailed by hand with exceptional precision and adorned with demantoid garnets.
All surface colors are created through a proprietary anodizing technique, developed by the artist, using electric current — no paint is involved.
Beyond its original design, the uniqueness of this brooch lies in the labor-intensive, fully manual process of its creation — a level of craftsmanship impossible to replicate through mechanized methods.
